Quby wins Dutch Innovation Prize Logica
This week Quby was selected as the Dutch winner of Logica's Global Innovation Venture Partner Programme (GIVP) and is now running for the global finale.
On Tuesday August 28th, Arjen Noorbergen, CTO of Quby, was competing against three other finalists and defended the Quby Energy Display and the platform idea behind it.
The jury, consisting of representatives of Logica's innovation team were impressed by the story and the fact that the application already is working in practice. Logica is convinced that there are plenty of opportunities for expansion and easily adding applications, such as smart charging for electric vehicles. They see several opportunities and concepts for the future.
The GIVP programme is a no holds barred contest with only one keyword: Innovation. Logica is looking worldwide for a product or solution that can make life easier and more efficient, or one that can change the way the world works. It should answer today's market need perfectly - by delivering innovations that can help reduce costs and increase client service.
Quby will now prepare for the Global Finale on 11 September in London where Quby is to compete against 9 other companies from Europe and America.
